Here's a challenge for anyone who finds this account: Try drawing a female in normal realistic proportions with no generic slutty clothing and not in some generic slutty pose. I'm sorry, but there's a point where this kind of stuff just goes from boring and overdone to cringeworthy:

As a straight dude, I love females as much as the next guy. But really? Lesbian Mario princesses? The DarkStalkers theme is kind of cool, I'll give it that, but still. Why is there some constant obsession with sexualizing everything to the point where it's not even cute anymore? Here's something that's actually refreshing to see on DA - a heterosexual couple. Look, an artist who knows how to draw both sexes!

And what's this? Her breasts aren't larger than her head? Why don't I see more of this on the front page and less pinup Hatsune Mikou images? Why does every picture of a female I see look barely dressed?

Oh, and the whole notion of "specializing in pornographic art" is bs, too. The only thing you're doing by only drawing large-breasted naked anime girls is limiting yourself to one medium. What happens when someone commissions you to draw detailed clothing or realistic proportions?

is an artist I can respect because he not only draws great and funny girls, but he even has an alternate account ([link]) for all his other stuff. It's clear to me that he's a talented artist who's not afraid to experiment with different styles of art. Look, he even draws manly men and landscapes!

I know if/when this account ever gets any activity, people are going to hate me for this. But really, no offense to any of the artists mentioned - they all have a great gift and their art isn't really that bad either. This just seems to be the trend with a lot of artists here and I don't get why.
